Description: The intimate resort was founded in 1956 by Don Abelardo Rodriguez, son of General Abelardo Rodriguez the interim president of Mexico, and has been a favorite retreat for the likes of Hemingway and Harlow. In February 2004, following a $90 million investment, One&Only Palmilla began a new era as the quintessential embodiment of elegance. Spa Facilities: Six double luxury villas feature a private, air-conditioned pavilion that opens onto a landscaped open-air garden with whirlpool bath and Mexican day bed, perfect for relaxing in between or after treatments. Double spa villas are designed so you can share the experience with a friend or loved one and include rain showers, Mexican daybeds and whirlpool baths. The One&Only villa is reserved for the most indulgent day of rejuvenation, featuring a sensory float bed. Continue your fitness regimen while on vacation in the state-of-the-art Fitness Center, and find inner tranquility in the Yoga Garden.
