Description: Stretching along El Médano Beach - the safest swimming beach in Cabo San Lucas - Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Spa opens to the Sea of Cortez and unobstructed views of the landmark El Arco at Land’s End. The upscale, familyfriendly property lies adjacent to the ultra-luxurious Villa La Estancia and active Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa in a gated, private enclave. Cascading waterfalls splashing into pools add to the dramatic view from the entrance of the property. Three seven-story buildings look out to the sparkling Sea of Cortez. The Desert Spa is available to guests of Villa La Estancia, Villa del Arco and Villa del Palmar.

Treatments and Programs: The Desert Spa offers guests a vast menu of indulgent and invigorating treatments. From signature facials and body wraps to relaxing massages and therapeutic services. Using a line of desert-inspired products created exclusively for the Desert Spa, therapists wrap, bathe and pamper guests with extracts of agave, lime, cactus, melon and vanilla. By blending fruit and herb extracts native to the Baja California area, the Desert Spa's natural body products have been selectively developed specifically for the restorative and nutritive powers they possess as well as for the enjoyment of the guests. Romantic Treatments and Programs: Couple's Massage - Enjoy your favorite spa indulgence with your loved one. Each of you will be pampered with your own personal therapist in the same private environment. Choice of two 50 minutes massages in one of our couple´s room or two 50 minutes massages plus 50 minutes of “downtime” to enjoy the company of your loved one in one of our Desert Spa suites. His And Hers - The most memorable and relaxing experience for a couple on a vacation, this special Desert Spa moment is offered in one of our two spa suites. Couples begin their journey in the aromatic water of a Jacuzzi to receive a neck, shoulder and scalp massage by two therapists. This is followed by a 50-minute relaxing massage, with each person enjoying their own therapist. (65 minutes approximately).

Spa Facilities: Designed in Mexican hacienda style, the 31,000 square-foot, 3 level, Desert Spa complements its natural setting with earth tones, ample natural light, and the scents and flavors of Baja. Among its many attributes are generous hydrotherapy centers for men and women including a spacious Jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, cold pressure showers, body temperature pool, steam room and sauna.The spa has 17 treatment rooms, two exclusive VIP suites with private Jacuzzi and shower and a full-service beauty salon. Within the Desert Spa, a 4,500 sq. ft. fitness center features seven treadmills, four elliptical bikes, three stationary bikes, 10 strength training stations, a multi-purpose station, four free weight stations, a Yoga/Pilates studio with classes, lockers and showers.

Other Facilities: This new beachfront resort offers 217 deluxe suites. Each of the one-, two- and three-bedroom suites features stylish contemporary decor with marble floors, whirlpool tub, walk-in shower and spacious balcony. Deluxe studio and penthouse suites are also available. Dining on property is at El Faro, an oyster, sushi and tequila bar serving fresh fish and fine tequilas, La Perla gourmet restaurant offering an elegant menu of fresh seafood, steaks and international cuisine presented in a gracious fine dining atmosphere and El Bucanero, a casual pirate boat themed - and shaped - snack bar and lunch spot “anchored” in the middle of the main pool. There are two large outdoor pools feature waterfalls, spa tubs, children’s areas, and views of the sea and offshore rock formations. Kayaks, boogie boards, snorkels and motorized personal watercraft are available at the on-site watersports center (surcharges may apply). Other diversions include tennis courts and a year-round, award-winning Kids Club. A complimentary activities program for all ages includes beach and water volleyball, pool games, Spanish lessons and bartending lessons.
