On My Mind - Pasaquan
by Julie Register

I have wanted to visit Pasaquan ever since my mother-in-law told me about it a number of years ago. However, it is only open the first Saturday of the month. Until this year, I hadn't been in Georgia when it was open. I admit there is no link to spas other than I cancelled a spa appointment in Columbus when I realized I could see Pasaquan on that day.
According to Eddie Owens Martin, a.k.a. St. EOM, Pasaquan means, "where the past, the present, the future, and everything else all comes together." It is an environmental art site on the property he inherited from his mother near Beuna Vista, Georgia and worked on for 30 years until his death in 1986. He financed his art by telling fortunes. He said his key to success at fortune telling was "good manicured nails."
He left behind four acres of fantastic architecture, thousands of small drawings, hundreds of paintings on canvas, numerous watercolors, a wardrobe of eccentrically fashioned clothing and costume, photographs and recordings, sculptures in wood, concrete and mixed media and rooms full of unique furniture.
Sadly, much of the paint has faded, peeled and washed off, the concrete is cracked and spalled in many places and the home is deteriorating. Notice the entry when it was painted in 1983 (from Dana Atchley's film) and how it looks in 2012.

In 2006, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation declared Pasaquan one of Georgia's ten "Places in Peril." The Pasaquan Preservation Society is working on restoring Pasaquan. For more details, go to: http://www.pasaquan.blogspot.com/

You can clean your home, fruits, vegetables and meats with the same 'Aqueous Ozone' that spas and other companies use. Tersano's ‘Aqueous Ozone’ Cleaning Systemt is the world's most effective chemical-free cleaner. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ quickly oxidizes (kills) viruses and bacteria (including E.coli, Salmonella, MRSA, C-Difficil), mold, mildew and other contaminants on any item or surface - from toilets to bedspreads - before changing safely back into water and oxygen. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ is 3000 times faster and 50% more powerful than bleach and chlorine-based cleaners. It is 100% chemical free - no toxins, carcinogens or chemical residue - and safe for babies, pets and people with sensitive skin or those with strong reactions to normal cleaners. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ has long been used in water treatment, food sterilization and medical therapies for its remarkable anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. It sounds too good to be true, but the data show how effective the system works.
I'm a believer.
