Description: Open spring 2006, The Lodge at Woodloch offers complete vacation spa programs and packages in a pristine mountain retreat environment, just two hours outside New York City. Located in the Lake Region of Northeast Pennsylvania, owned and operated by internationally recognized spa design and operations experts, John and Ginny Lopis of JGL, Inc., The Lodge at Woodloch is the newest “destination vacation spa” in the country. It combine elegant lodging facilities and the most advanced spa programming with an exciting collection of sports, adventure, recreation and entertainment experiences. The spa's philosophy is Awakening: A complete spa program of fitness, adventure, wellness and beauty services/activities, dedicated to giving guests a feeling of comfort and satisfaction, a sense of personal fulfillment and enjoyment, and a window of opportunity to rejuvenate body, mind and spirit.

Treatments & Programs: The Program Elements & Offerings include:

• Fitness/Exercise – programs emphasize personal training and small, personalized classes. Aerobics, stretch, body contouring, yoga, tai chi, and other group classes are limited to approximately 12 people at a time. In addition, are outdoor opportunities to enjoy golf, tennis, skiing, river rafting, canoeing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and other seasonal activities, either on property or only minutes away.
  
• Nutrition – include educational seminars, cooking demonstrations, and personal consultations. A variety of fresh juices, teas, mineral waters, elixirs, and snacks are available throughout the day. The Lodge’s dining room serves sophisticated healthy, organic, gourmet cuisine.
  
• Lifestyle Enhancement/Wellness – activities include meditation, relaxation techniques, stress management training, smoking cessation, health risk testing, wellness seminars, personal coaching, as well as a variety of creative arts classes: drawing, painting, writing, gardening, cooking, dancing, singing, photography, etc.
  
• Therapeutic Spa Treatments – designed to relax, rejuvenate and deliver a variety of therapeutic benefits, and include classic treatments such as Swedish massage, Shiatsu, reflexology, aromatherapies, hydrotherapies, body wraps, stone treatments, sports massage, Thai massage, etc. The program is enhanced by unique signature treatments designed specifically for The Lodge.
  
• Skin Care and Beauty Treatments – include a menu of facials, mud and clay treatments, body wraps and polishes, cellulite regimens, etc. Signature treatments use indigenous herbs, flowers and other natural resources from the region, along with The Lodge’s customized retail products.
  
• Salon Services – include complete hair and nail services for men and women, including color, hair conditioning treatments, manicures, pedicures, hand/foot exfoliations, make-up and more.
  
• Retail – include spa products, sports/spa apparel, logo and luxury gift items, nutritional supplements and other health, fitness, bath and beauty products.
  
• Entertainment – include movies, featured guest speakers, seminars and evening music entertainment. Unique to its vacation spa concept, and because of the spa’s relationship with nearby Woodloch Pines Resort, guests may also enjoy dancing, comedy and Broadway-style shows.

Spa Facilities: Designed to appeal to discriminating spa enthusiasts, the 40,000-square-foot spa features men’s and women’s locker rooms with luxurious fireplace lounges, signature private shower/changing rooms, grooming areas, dedicated men’s and women’s saunas/steamrooms/whirlpool complexes with screened in outdoor porches, full service hair and nails salon, retail boutique, indoor pool and a unique Aqua Garden with heated hydromassage waterfall pools, an outdoor terrace with infinity edge whirlpool on a radiant heated deck. An entire floor of the spa is dedicated to fitness with four exercise studios including a yoga studio, meditation studio, a multi-purpose studio, and a grand cardio/weight training studio with personal training alcoves, private consultation rooms, and a juice bar lounge overlooking the garden lobby.
