Spa Associations in the News ISPA Adds a Student Membership Category LEXINGTON, Ky. - With the phenomenal growth of the spa industry, a qualified labor pool is a key consideration for the future. As the authoritative voice of the spa industry, the International SPA Association is helping cultivate an experienced spa industry workforce by creating a student membership category. "With 2,000 members in 63 countries, ISPA members include directors, managers and CEOs of spas as well as managers of spa product companies. Now, students can be part of this exciting group," said ISPA Executive Director Lynne Walker McNees. "By exposing students to the numerous benefits of ISPA membership, the entire industry will continue to grow and thrive." The student membership is designed to provide students the resources they need to succeed in the spa industry. Some of the key benefits to the students include:
Student memberships are available to any person who is in a degreed track at a two- to four-year college or in a specialized technical school program that is more than six months long. Student memberships are $75 per year and applications are available on www.experienceispa.com.
