Spa People in the News
Julie Register leaves spas.about.com
to create DiscoverSpas.com
(December 11, 2003) - Julie Register ended her relationship
with About.com today. As the creator and editor/writer of spas.about.com,
she visited and wrote about hundreds of spas. She became known as a
spa expert and was interviewed for articles in the New York Times, The
Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Spa Finder and others. During
the last 6+ years, she built the spas.about.com site to be an important
resource for both spa enthusiasts and those in the spa industry. The
site garnered over a million page views each month and won the Forbes
Best of the Web Travel Site 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and Yahoo! Internet
Life Best Spa Site 2002 awards. But, it was time to move on.
Her first new project is her web site - Discover Spas
(http://discoverspas.com), a site that offers:
The Spa Register, a directory of over 10,000 global spa listings
(7,700+ US spas are already up)
Spa Business Resources
and much more.
In fact, over the next few months, she will be moving all of the content
she created from spas.about.com to DiscoverSpas.com. She will devote
the same attention to detail and responsiveness that she always has
and intends this site to become an indispensable resource for anyone
with an interest in spas.
She asks that you please bear with her while she builds
and populates this site. In the mean time, she welcomes any and all
suggestions to make this the best spa-related site possible.
She also asks that you please spread the word!!!

You can clean your home, fruits, vegetables and meats with the same 'Aqueous Ozone' that spas and other companies use. Tersano's ‘Aqueous Ozone’ Cleaning Systemt is the world's most effective chemical-free cleaner. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ quickly oxidizes (kills) viruses and bacteria (including E.coli, Salmonella, MRSA, C-Difficil), mold, mildew and other contaminants on any item or surface - from toilets to bedspreads - before changing safely back into water and oxygen. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ is 3000 times faster and 50% more powerful than bleach and chlorine-based cleaners. It is 100% chemical free - no toxins, carcinogens or chemical residue - and safe for babies, pets and people with sensitive skin or those with strong reactions to normal cleaners. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ has long been used in water treatment, food sterilization and medical therapies for its remarkable anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. It sounds too good to be true, but the data show how effective the system works.
I'm a believer.
