Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa Announces
Appointment of Spa Director Donna LaFleur
BRENTWOOD
BAY, British Columbia, Canada, February 23, 2004- Daniel Behune, president
of Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa, Western Canada's new luxury oceanfront
resort opening in May 2004, is pleased to announce the appointment of
Donna LaFleur to the position of Spa Director. LaFleur brings diverse
spa management skills to the resort, gained from more than 20 years
experience in the spa and wellness industries.
Her extensive background, which includes designing and
operating one of Victoria's leading edge spas for many years, prepares
LaFleur particularly well for the post of Spa Director at the resort's
Spa & Wellness Center. "We are pleased to have Donna LaFleur
on board to launch our intimate and personalized spa and look forward
to the exclusive treatments she and her team of highly trained spa technicians
will provide for our guests," Behune said.
"Designing and developing this new spa with its
focus on indigenous west coast therapies is a tremendous opportunity,
and we are developing a line of original therapies that use local organic
and natural ingredients," LaFleur said.
The Spa & Wellness Center offers rejuvenating treatments,
massages and water therapies in a tranquil oceanfront setting. The spa's
Essence of Life signature treatments pamper guests with indigenous plant
extracts and botanicals. Developed by LaFleur, the original spa menu
includes vinotherapies, which feature organic grape products; ocean
salt body scrubs and B.C. granite hot stone treatments. A relaxing hydrotherapy
tub, couples' rainfall shower and oceanfront Tranquility Room complete
the spa experience. Special features include a fireplace, outdoor terrace,
seaside aroma garden and heated year-round outdoor pool and hot tub.
Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa is Victoria's new luxury
