Gasparilla Inn & Club Appoints Jennifer Knight as Spa Director

GRANDE, Fla. – (September14, 2009) – The historic Gasparilla
Inn & Club, located on Florida’s picturesque Gulf Coast, announces
the appointment of Jennifer Knight as spa director. In her new position, Knight
will oversee all operations for the National Historic Landmark resort’s Gasparilla
Inn Spa. Knight’s responsibilities include developing new treatments, as
well as overseeing staff, reservations, fitness, products and special events.
“Jennifer brings more than a decade of experience working at luxury
resort spa facilities, which makes her the ideal candidate to direct The Gasparilla
Inn Spa,” said Jack G. Damioli, president and general manager of the resort.
Prior to joining The Gasparilla Inn & Club, Knight served as the
sales and marketing manager, and fitness director for OOOO La La Products in Desert
Hills, Ariz. She has also managed the spa facilities at The Arizona Biltmore Resort
and Spa, and The Golden Door Spa locations in Las Casitas, Puerto Rico and The
Boulders Resort, Ariz.
The Gasparilla Inn Spa offers a variety of massages,
body treatments, acupuncture, fitness classes and other health related services.
The Spa features spacious bath facilities with steam rooms, saunas and a private
lap pool for adults. Relaxation areas open to a courtyard where a private garden
grows mint, rosemary, and lavender used in spa treatments, such as the Lemon &
Mint Body Renewal, a refreshing skincare regimen for the whole body. Other favorite
