Multi-million Monart Spa to Open in Ireland

The
Ireland-based Griffin Hotel Group has announced the introduction of
Monart, a n35m (£24m, US$43.3m) luxury destination spa due to
open later this year.
An adult-only destination, Monart is set within 100 acres
of woodland in North County Wexford in the south east of Ireland.
The property which offers 70 luxury bedrooms and
suites features a 1,400sq m (15,000 sq ft) spa with 14 treatment
rooms, a sanarium, a sauna, a swedish log sauna, a laconium, a salt
grotto, a steamroom, rasul and hamman chambers and soap massage rooms
with heated massage tables.
Other facilities will include a kneipp pool, a hydrotherapy
pool, foot spas, manicure and pedicure rooms, a hair salon and dark
and light relaxation rooms.
Monart has entered into an exclusive partnership with
US-based product line Pevonia Botanica and will offer a series of needs-based,
results-driven packages focusing on areas such as detoxification, anti-ageing
and sports therapy.
Treatments are set to include a full body Detox Seaweed
Thalasso Wrap, a Green Coffee body wrap for cellulite and an Elasto-firm
face mask treatment. Complementary massage and alternative therapies
will be offered as well.
The spa will also have a selection of products aimed at
specific skin issues including rosacea, pigmentation, dehydration and
premature ageing.
Monart is the first destination spa to be created by Liam
Griffin, managing director of Griffin Hotels, which was established
in the early 1980s. The group operates two hotels in the south east
of Ireland the Ferrycarrig Hotel and Hotel Kilkenny.
