Playacar Palace is situated

the 18-hole, par-72 championship course at the nearby Playacar Spa & Golf
Club. Designed by renowned architect Robert Van Hagge, the competitive course,
which is recognized as one of the top courses in the world, will inspire golfers
with its lush foliage, aquamarine waters, and greens that were carved from the
dense Mayan jungle. Inaugurated on December 1994, this 7,144 yard course features
a slope rating of 148 from the championship tees, 136 from the white tees, and
134 from the red tees, proving that it is as challenging to play as it is beautiful.
