327-room urban resort situated on exclusive Brickell Key, debuts a second
presidential suite to complement its line of 31 opulent and spacious
suites.
We have seen an increase in occupancy and demand
for our Oriental Suite (Presidential Suite) from celebrities and executives
from around the world, said Jorge Gonzalez, general manager. Our
new Mandarin Suite (second Presidential Suite) was designed to offer
a choice for our guests seeking the ultimate in luxury and accommodations.
The suite provides a highly personalized experience, with its own luxury
spa haven for total pampering pleasure.
The Mandarin Suite 2,000 square-feet of heavenly
indulgence, features a master bedroom and bath, beautifully appointed
living room with bamboo hardwood floors, formal dining room, gourmet
kitchen and large private balcony accessible from every room.
The suites most unique and outstanding feature is
a spa serenity room, a one-of-a-kind sanctuary offering
the ultimate spa experience in the comforts of your own suite. This
spa oasis provides a tranquil Zen-like environment with warm color tones,
bamboo accents and Mexican river stones accented by Spanish marble tile
and a breathtaking view of Biscayne Bay.
The spa serenity room features Japanese-style Tatami mats
for lounging and enjoying afternoon tea, an infinity-edge soaking bath
with color therapy lighting and tear drop ceiling fountain and relaxation
area with glass-enclosed steam shower, white-cushioned teak bench and
ESPA spa amenities, salts, body and bath oils. A self-tinting privacy
window provides for total relaxation and seclusion.
The highly-skilled therapists from the award-winning Spa
at Mandarin Oriental, Miami can perform spa treatments in the Mandarin
Suite. Priority spa reservations are available and a personal spa therapist
is on call 24 hours a day. Guests can choose from an extensive menu
of treatment rituals including Balinese Synchronized Massage, Mandarin
Hot Stone Therapy, Aromatherapy Facial, Thai Massage and Shiatsu.
Spa Butlers are also on hand to arrange lavish bath rituals
in the Mandarin Suites signature infinity-edge bath, which features
a floor-to-ceiling window providing dramatic views for bathers. Guests
can sip on calming tea while enjoying one of six therapeutic aromatherapy
baths. Spa Butlers will set extra touches of aromatherapy candles, rose
petals and soothing music for ultimate tranquility.
The one-bedroom Mandarin Suite (can be converted to two
or three bedrooms upon request) is decorated with an Asian flair by
Henriksen Design Associates of Venice Beach, California. With warm orange-toned
fabrics and rich textures of silk and crushed velvet, the suite exudes
a comfortable, residential feel with a contemporary design.
The master bedroom with an understated modern style features
a 42-inch plasma TV, walk-in closet and sliding glass door providing
dramatic views of the bay. The large master bath boasts a free standing
tub, oversized rainwater shower and personal TV.
The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for entertaining
with family and friends. The kitchen features a marble bar with natural
oak cushioned chairs, rice-paper style sliding door, custom designed
wine cabinets and an array of the latest gourmet gadgets. Special arrangements
can be made for Mandarin Orientals talented culinary team to prepare
elaborate meals for guests to savor in the formal dining room. Private
cooking classes can also be arranged.
