CA – May 15, 2007 – The Renaissance Hollywood Hotel has broken ground
on construction for its new Spa Luce. The world-class spa is part of the hotel’s
$29 million grand renovation, which includes the chic new bar and lounge, and
a complete refurbishment of all guest rooms, the outside pool, and lobby.
A joint venture with WTS International, the new Spa Luce at
the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel will offer a luxurious and relaxing experience
on-site, without ever having to brave the Los Angeles traffic. Perfect for both
the spa beginner and expert, Spa Luce will set the standard for quality spa services
by offering unique treatments and product lines in a rejuvenating environment.
The name Spa Luce originates from the
Italian word for “light,” a guiding principle for the spa’s design.
When completed, natural sunlight will stream into the spa, creating an environment
where light and warmth are seen for their regenerative, healing properties. The
spa will feature six distinct treatment rooms and is set to open this winter.
With the creation of the spa, the outdoor
pool and the exercise area will also be redesigned. With an unfettered view of
the Hollywood sign and the cityscape, the Los Angeles hotel’s Pool Terrace
will become a more intimate affair, with a new bar offering world-famous Wolfgang
Puck creations.
