Hyatt Key West Resort & Marina going 'Eco-Glam'
with their NEW Jala
Hyatt Key West Resort & Marina
going 'Eco-Glam' with their NEW Jala Spa coming this month, part of the property's
$10 million redesign debuting this fall. Meaning "water" in Sanskrit,
Jala Spa taps the vital life sources that power Key West's island magic to offer
nature-inspired treatments luxuriously performed with all-natural products.
And eco-awareness never felt so indulgent... From green clay
wraps to reef relief donations, Hyatt Key West Resort & Marina's new Jala
Spa will bring personal glamour and nature's sustainability into synergistic rhythm.
Jala Spa is small with just two treatment
rooms and three poolside spa cabanas, but what makes it so unique is its dedication
to preserving the destination's coral reefs which surround, sustain and protect
Key West, and has just entered an exclusive relationship with the Reef Relief
Organization (www.reefrelief.org). A $5 donation will be made with each Signature
"Jala Blue" treatment purchased. Jala Blue starts with a revitalizing
full-body exfoliation with the spa's signature Blue Mojito scrub, followed by
a refresh facial (1.5 hours, $195). The scrub features a custom blend of all-natural
products formulated exclusively for Jala by Deborah Kelly, the proprietor of Old
Orchard Herbs. For bookings of Jala "boosters" - supplemental perks
for full treatments - the spa donates another dollar.
The
property is also on its way to becoming "Green Certified" by the Florida
Green Lodging Program (www.FloridaGreenLodging.org), wrapping up its application
for "1 Palm" status to become "Green Approved" by year's end.
