EcoTulum Resorts & Spa in the Riviera
Maya Cleansed after Hurricane Dean
Tulum, Mexico.
August 22, 2007 ~ EcoTulum Resorts & Spa, a collection of three rustic boutique
hotels Cabanas Copal, Azulik, Zahra, and holistic Maya
Spa, will begin accepting walk-in guests as of Friday, August 24 in the wake
of Hurricane Dean. EcoTulum Resorts & Spa suffered minor damage during the
hurricane and staff have spent the time following the storm focused on cleanup.
Four EcoTulum managers stayed on site at Hotel Zahra throughout the entire Hurricane
Dean experience.
The ancient Mayans believed that hurricanes
arrived to clean negative energy, everything that was not necessary, and they
awaited them with the intent that they would renovate everything impure and unnecessary.
EcoTulum Resorts & Spa is now clean after the passing of Hurricane Dean, positive
energy emanates from all three hotels, and from all of our staff. There are improvements
each day, and the Caribbean Sea is beautiful once again.
A
ceremony is being planned at EcoTulum for the next full moon to thank the elements
with offerings.
EcoTulum Resorts & Spa is located in the
Mayan pueblo of Tulum along the Riviera Maya, a popular tourist destination in
Mexicos Caribbean on the eastern coast of the Yucatan peninsula in the state
of Quintana Roo, just and 120 miles south of the Cancun international airport.
EcoTulum will be open and operating on Friday, August 24 after the passing of
Hurricane Dean.
