Introduces Sense, A Rosewood Spa (TM) DALLAS
- 4-14-08 - Since 1979, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been welcoming guests
to a world of refined indulgence and unparalleled personal service at its international
collection of ultra-luxury properties. Within many of these beautiful properties
lie award-winning spa destinations, sanctuaries of luxury, health and relaxation,
which serve as havens for sophisticated travelers across the globe. These extraordinarily
successful spas have given Rosewood a wealth of experience and affirmed its commitment
to nurturing personal well being, both of which are at the heart of Rosewood's
new spa brand, Sense. The first Sense opened last month at
the Rosewood Mayakobá on the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico. It is
built around a cenote and offers a treatment inspired by the Mayan calendar and
local healing arts and herbs. This month, the second Sense
spa is to open at the Rosewood Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda, the British Virgin
Islands; it will feature a Neem Leaf Facial, using freshly picked leaves from
local trees to create a serum for a mask. A Sense will also
open this month at the CordeVale resort in San Martin, Calif., where grape seeds
will be a part of several treatments. A Sense spa planned
for the Carlyle in New York in September will feature a water sensory treatment.
It will include a body wash, exfoliating scrub and hydrating mask, followed by
shower massage pulsing in time to music accompanied by changing color patterns.
Sense,
A Rosewood Spa (TM) will soon be a fixture at other select properties in the Rosewood
collection. Though each spa will embrace a specific set of Rosewood protocols
and rituals, the Rosewood philosophy, A Sense of Place® will guide every element
of the spa experience. Designed to enhance guests' experiences by reflecting the
local environment, each and every Sense spa will be bestowed with one-of-a-kind
ambience, style and attention to detail. Each will be an exceptionally unique
sanctuary - instantly welcoming and individual in character, with treatments and
services that honor local traditions in healing and incorporate indigenous natural
elements. "Rosewood has a history of offering impeccable
hospitality and the finest spa services at our award-winning properties,"
said Bob Boulogne, Chief Operating Officer for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
"It is tremendously exciting that Rosewood will now continue this tradition
through Sense spa, a natural extension of the Rosewood brand, offering our guests
the ultimate luxury spa experience at select Rosewood properties in a unique and
authentic atmosphere." Sense spas will take a personal
approach that will allow guests' encounters to be based on their individual needs,
and the environment of each will be a combination of timeless comfort and local
culture. Designed to bring balance through layout, décor and amenities,
each Sense spa will be individual - a perfect complement in personality and composition
to both the Rosewood collection and to its parent hotel or resort. For additional

You can clean your home, fruits, vegetables and meats with the same 'Aqueous Ozone' that spas and other companies use. Tersano's ‘Aqueous Ozone’ Cleaning Systemt is the world's most effective chemical-free cleaner. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ quickly oxidizes (kills) viruses and bacteria (including E.coli, Salmonella, MRSA, C-Difficil), mold, mildew and other contaminants on any item or surface - from toilets to bedspreads - before changing safely back into water and oxygen. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ is 3000 times faster and 50% more powerful than bleach and chlorine-based cleaners. It is 100% chemical free - no toxins, carcinogens or chemical residue - and safe for babies, pets and people with sensitive skin or those with strong reactions to normal cleaners. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ has long been used in water treatment, food sterilization and medical therapies for its remarkable anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. It sounds too good to be true, but the data show how effective the system works.
I'm a believer.
