LaBelle
Opens Largest Eco-Friendly
Day Spa in Northern California - Lavish "Green"
Facility Offers Pampering Plus Environmental Protection
PALO
ALTO, Calif. October 6, 2008 LaBelle Day Spas is re-opening in November,
just in time for the holidays, at Palo Alto's Town & Country Village as an
expansive new "green" spa that integrates environmental awareness and
ecological responsibility into the luxury day spa experience.
LaBelle is at the forefront of the $9.4 billion* U.S. spa
industry's growing initiative to protect the earth's resources and utilize eco-friendly
operating practices. Treading lightly on the planet is a natural fit for spas,
whose mission is to promote healthy lifestyles together with outer and inner beauty.
Encompassing 7,000 square feet, the new
spa complies with eco-friendly construction standards and sustainable design practices,
and incorporates reclaimed building materials and low VOC paints, flooring and
adhesives. Energy conservation measures include energy-efficient light bulbs and
ENERGY STAR® appliances. Spa marketing materials are composed of soy inks
and recycled and bio-degradable materials. Plus, the facility has been updated
with a cutting-edge MediSpa, Pilates studio and new hair salon.
"Our vision is to create a truly calming and nurturing
experience that emphasizes the relationship between personal wellbeing and the
health of our planet," said founder and CEO Bella Schneider, a leading paramedical
skincare expert and industry entrepreneur. "At our new spa, guests can enjoy
revitalizing and beautifying themselves in a luxurious ambiance that embraces
our core philosophy of protecting the environment."
A
30-year industry veteran, Schneider personally oversees three LaBelle locations,
an extensive self-formulated product line, a school for advanced esthetics and
an international distribution center. In addition, she regularly contributes bylined
articles to leading professional publications such as Dermascope and Les Nouvelles
Esthétiques & Spa. Now, she has added "environmentalist"
to her long list of credits.
Guests
can select from numerous natural beautifying treatments that sound good enough
to eat, including the Tomato AHA/BHA Corrective Facial, Pure Silk Lift Facial,
Herbal Peel, Green Tea and Ginger Wasabi Pedicures, Wine and Roses Scrub and Green
Apple and Lactic Acid Body Exfoliation with Bulgarian Rose. Organic hair treatments
include the Soy Scalp Treatment for Dehydration plus various semi-permanent hair
colors and Hennas. The spa also offers the comprehensive line of traditional beauty
and skincare products that has made LaBelle the Bay Area's premier source for
clinical salon skincare.
The opening will
be followed by a month-long series of exclusive guest rewards such as upgrades
to specialty treatments. Complimentary add-on services include hand treatments
with facials, French polish with manicures and aromatherapy soaks with massages.
In addition, LaBelle will offer a discount of 50 percent for one in-house private
Pilates session, $25 coupons for all MediSpa services plus a rare opportunity
for personal skincare consultations with Schneider. Furthermore, representatives
from premiere product lines such as Bumble and bumble, Lippmann and Obagi will
