Spa Places in the News Noble House Hotels & Resorts Expands SpaTerre Brand - Signature Spa to Open Three Additional Outlets in Florida
MIAMI, FL (November 4, 2004) SpaTerre, the signature spa of Noble House Hotels & Resorts (www.noblehousehotels.com), has announced its expansion, with three additional outlets being created in Florida. Ocean Key Resort & Spa in Key West, Grove Isle Resort & Spa in Miami and The Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores will each open a SpaTerre in early 2005, bringing the signature spa to nine of the 12 hotels in the Noble House collection.
SpaTerre has become an integral element of the Noble House properties across the country, said Dan Pierotti, corporate director of spa development and operations for Noble House Hotels & Resorts. The expansion of the brand is a tribute to our guests appreciation for and continued enjoyment of the spa experience as a part of the Noble House lifestyle, added Pierotti.
SpaTerre at Ocean Key Resort & Spa in Key West will open January 1, 2005, and feature six treatment rooms and a salon. The 2,550 square-foot boutique spa will feature a couples massage room, three individual massage rooms, a facial room and a wet room with Vichy shower. The Salon will offer two pedicure stations, two manicure stations and a makeup station.
Signature treatments will include the Tropical Essence Massage, Key Lime Margarita Pedicure, the Cucumber-Aloe Wrap and the Aussie Airbrush Tan. Treatment rooms are named after the ocean: Sand, Sun, Sea, Shell, Shore and Surf and feature Ofuro (Japanese soaking tubs) on balconies.
Décor features beaded chandeliers, white tile, mahogany flooring and wood-paneled walls. Fabrics are in cool whites and blues, reflecting the natural beauty of the water, just steps away.
SpaTerre will also feature a fitness center, with flat-screen televisions fixed on each piece of state-of-the-art cardio equipment. Located at historic Zero Duval Street, Ocean Key Resort & Spa captures the character and charm of Old Town Key West. The hotels deluxe one and two-bedroom suites reflect the fun and funky feel of this island paradise. The two-story, 6,030 square-foot spa will feature a couples massage room, three individual massage rooms, two facial rooms, a wet room with Vichy shower, a private steam room and a Zen meditation room. The Salon will offer four hair stations, three pedicure stations, two manicure stations and a makeup station.
Additionally, SpaTerre will feature a Watsu pool with waterfall, a yoga platform and two outdoor massage areas, all set waterside on the tranquil bay that surrounds the resort.
Signature treatments will include the Tropical Essence Massage, Key Lime Margarita Pedicure, Watsu and the Aussie Airbrush Tan. Treatment rooms are named after the elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Wood and Metal, and feature Asian porcelain tubs on wooden pedestals.
Décor is Asian-inspired, with lit sheared curtains, mahogany floors and metal and wood finishes throughout.

In addition to these services, SpaTerre will also offer pre and post-cosmetic facial surgery care and treatment.
