BERMUDA – May 23, 2012 – Rosewood Tucker’s Point has announced the re-launch of its spa as a Sense® spa, the seventh of the brand to join the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® collection. In step with the start of the island’s peak season, a spa experience at Bermuda’s premier luxury resort now becomes even more enriched with a renewed treatment menu. Just steps from the island’s famed pink sand beaches, the 12,000-square foot facility boasts eight treatment rooms (including a couples’ room) and a revitalized menu that incorporates native traditions and indigenous natural ingredients including local flora, ocean minerals, and honey harvested from the resort’s own grounds. Guests can enjoy a world-class spa experience distinctive to the idyllic Atlantic island, featuring skin care products from Ajni, Tata Harper, and Priori, as well as a state-of -the-art hydrotherapy suite featuring the acclaimed SilverTAG Shower (currently offered at only two other resorts in the world). The spa’s tranquil reflecting pool and garden provide a soul-soothing space to lounge and unwind before or after treatments, and guests can also choose from a selection of healthful spa snacks including fresh fruit smoothies, seafood and salads.
Five unique Sense® Spa Journeys and essential skin care services tailored specifically to guests’ needs will revive spa-goers’ mind, body and spirit. Sense® has also introduced a Rose Buds® Junior Spa menu and a Bermuda Lilies menu for the island’s teen guests, including everything from mini manicures and makeup tutorials, to complexion-clearing facials. In addition, Sense® at Rosewood Tucker’s Point features an elegant salon for guests to enjoy haircuts, color and styling, and signature shaves for gentlemen.
Spa menu highlights include:
- Sense of Bermuda Experience: a half-day experience combining a collection of the spa’s signature service including a Cedar Warming Massage, signature facial, Swizzle Manicure and Pedicure and a fresh spa lunch
- Match Me If You Can BotanicalTherapy: a full-body dry brush exfoliation, and warm, mineral-rich mud cocoon, followed by a one-of-a-kind hydrotherapy experience in the spa’s Silver TAG shower, and a light massage
- Explore Bermuda: a spa journeybeginning with a scenic walk through the spa’s garden to the sunken grotto, known as the Coffee Chine, to hand select plants to be used in a body wrap. After a light lunch, the journey is completed with a signature Tucker’s Pedicure.
- Beekeeper Honey & Cane Sugar Therapy: asweet, exfoliating massage using a scrub of pure honey and cane sugar leaving skin bright and glowing, followed by a tropical rain splash therapy in the Silver TAG shower, and a massage with pure organic shea butter and the spa’s signature Bermuda lily-infused aromatherapy blend
