elizabethW Blossoms Spring 2004
San Francisco, April 2004: ElizabethW is blooming. The innovative brand
of the niche perfumery launches a new scent and new indulgences this
spring.
New Spa and Spa Treatment Collections
In addition, there is the new Spa collection of spa candles, spa bags,
sachets, and drawer liners in a warm, cream colored terry cloth. Spa
Treatments including Salt Glows and Sugar Scrubs are now available at
luxury resorts such as the Four Seasons Santa Barbara and The Greenbrier
in West Virginia.
New Fragrance The
brand, privately owned by ex-architect Albert Nichols and former management
consultant Michael Lindsay will launch its newest fragrance Citrus Vervain
this spring. "Our loyal and demanding clientele requested a uniquely
distinct citrus scent" said Nichols, who named the company after
his great-grandmother. He added "One scent cannot satisfy all moods.
Likewise, no mood lasts forever. That's why we offer such a variety
of original fragrances and indulgences for our customers.".
New Hand Care The
boutique perfumery in San Francisco has been prolific in its latest
product launches. A new handcare set of hand lotion and liquid hand
wash in 200ml glass bottles, are available in eight scents and complement
the company's bath and body program, known as Skin Care Preparations.
A smaller gift set of these two products is launched in 50ml glass bottles.
New triple milled soaps in the same scents also make their debut in
gift sets of three 100g bars as well as individual boxes.
New Felt Collection For the home,
elizabethW continues to expand its Essences for Interiors collection,
which took off after Oprah featured the silk and linen drawer liner
on "My Favorite Things", her holiday TV show. New this season
are the Felt line of travel candles, sachets, drawer liners, shoe bags,
and laundry bags in cool blue, gray felt.
New Silk Sachets If
that doesn't satisfy the consumer's demand for something new, then the
perfumery has added Hanger Sachets in a choice of linen colors, and
gold edge, silk sachets in lavender. "From our workshop, we design
and create luxurious yet affordable indulgences" said Lindsay.
"These items are a natural addition to our burgeoning collection
of scented gifts for the wardrobe".
The launch of Citrus Vervain
and the many new products signal a desire to energetically grow the
flowering brand. The elizabethW collection is now made up of 14 scents,
Blue Sage, Citrus Vervain, Hyacinth, Lavender, Leaves, Lilac, Magnolia,
Rose, Sandalwood, Sweet Tea, Tuberose, Vetiver, Violet, and Woods.

About elizabethW
Formerly an architect, Albert Nichols named his San Francisco
perfumery after Elizabeth Wightman, his great-grandmother. In the 1800s,
she founded a ranch in the Sierra Nevadas, when neither grace nor style
were required or desired.
She was the obvious inspiration for his business.
Established as a traditional perfumery, the elizabethW
brand has expanded to include exquisite and original collections for
bath, body, and home, through the founder's commitment to quality fragrances,
superb ingredients, and innovative design.
Uniquely elizabethW, all products are designed by Albert
and created onsite in our San Francisco workshop. They are available
at exclusive boutiques and resorts worldwide.
The People Behind elizabethW
Albert Nichols and Michael Lindsay are the joint brawn
and brains behind elizabethW, San Francisco. They are business partners
and ex-professionals...Albert was an architect; Michael a management
consultant and journalist.
Albert combines his design skills developed as an architect with his
knowledge as the 'nose' behind elizabethW fragrances. He applies them
to create his original, scented gifts for bath, body, and home. Reno
born, he moved to San Francisco after graduating in Architecture at
the University of Oregon.
Michael is from London, with a long and cherished family
history in textile and fashion design. He has law degrees from the University
of Exeter in England and the Sorbonne in Paris, France. His circuitous
route to the San Francisco perfumery came via London, Paris, Denver,
and Silicon Valley. Today, he focuses on developing the business into
a global brand, while staying close to the spirit and principles of
his own family and the memory of elizabethW.
