Description: Little Dix Bay founder Laurence Rockefeller's initial vision was to create a property in ecological balance with the environment and The Spa further complements this concept. The individualized treatment cottages, all with glorious Virgin Gorda island and ocean vistas, are situated on the cliff-side, and designed and created in harmony with the environment. Treatments & Programs: The treatment programs highlight the ancient healing arts of the exotic yet primitive societies that dominated the British Virgin Islands until the European colonization of the 15th century. The Spa will effectively reintroduce some of these practices to the island of Virgin Gorda where the indigenous population once developed their organic, therapeutic practices from the surrounding natural herbs, oils, ocean and celestial influences. Enjoy a one hour massage then relax on your patio sharing candlelight, champagne and strawberries. A signature spa amenity is yours to remember the evening. Island Time for Two: This romantic spa ritual is inspired by the scents and sensations of paradise. The experience begins with a dry brush exfoliation performed by your therapists. We then give you time alone to apply healing aromatic mud to each other. A wrap relaxes and prepares you for a luxurious 90 minute tropical island massage after which you can relax in your spa robes while lunch is served on the private and intimate dining patio. Continue your experience with our Signature Natural Neem Leaf Facial and a soothing hand and foot treatment. Couples Massage Instruction: We invite you to come as a couple to learn the benefits of massage. Your therapist will demonstrate various massage techniques and then allow each of you to practice under their supervision and guidance.
