Description: Nestled into the hillside below the Main inn, the Spa is camouflaged by a subterranean design. The inspiration comes from the breathtaking beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, weaving together the elements of fire, rock, water and light. High stone walls, fireplaces and waterfalls accent the centerpiece, a magical pool area.

Romantic Treatments & Programs: Couples Massage - A wonderful massage can be even better when the experience is shared. Together you will each receive customized Grove Park Classic Massages in one of the deluxe Couples Rooms. (Does not include Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy or Grove Stone Massage.) Couples Retreat - This massage designed just for two is bound to bring you closer together. In the deluxe couple's room,a sprinkling rose petals and the delicate glow of candlelight.Two 50-minute tandem Grove Park Classic Massages are followed by a warm, aromatic hydrotherapy bath. You're encouraged to simply relax, sip chilled champagne and feed each other chocolate-covered strawberries. 120 minutes.

Maternity Treatments & Programs: Maternity Massage - Moms-to-be or new mothers don't often realize the benefits massage can offer them. However, one session of this specifically designed therapy can make a convert out of any mom. Created to help alleviate leg, hip and lower back pressure caused by the body's normal adjustments
to pregnancy. (Please inform the spa of your due date at time of reservation.) 80 minutesor 50 minutes. Mother-to-Be or New Mother Wrap - Pamper the body and senses. Specially chosen essential oils, safe for mother and baby, nourish the body from head to toe while restoring skin condition and refining stretch marks. Includes exfoliation, wrap and half-hour massage.A take-home gift if yours to enjoy. 80 minutes. Mother-to-Be Pedicure This luxurious aromatherapy session begins with a therapeutic foot soak followed by a gentle exfoliation. Next, a cooling and nourishing treatment soothes swollen feet while improving circulation. Finally, a moisturizing treatment with pregnancy-appropriate oils conditions skin and cuticles.Aches and pains seem to melt away. 60 minutes.

Spa Facilities: $32 million, 40,000 sf subterranean Spa opened 2-28-01. The Spa is more than 40,000 sq. ft. in size, 15,000 of which are amenities to enjoy before and after treatments. There are mineral pools with soothing underwater music, exhilarating contrast pools, a lap pool, an inhalation room, sauna and a eucalyptus-infused steam room as well as separate Men’s and Women’s Relaxation Lounges.

Other Facilities: Golf Course, tennis courts - three outdoor hard courts and three indoor courts. 50,000 square foot Sports Complex offers 18-station Paramount equipment, dumbbells, freeweights, Lifecycles, stair climbers, treadmills, and Precore elliptical crosstrainers. Aerobics classes are offered and include step, body sculpt, yoga, water aerobics, Reebok Cycle, kickboxing, and hi/low orbeginner classes. (Children ages 16 or under are not permitted on exercise equipment.) Raquetball. Aerobics Classes include step, body sculpt, yoga, wateraerobics, Reebok Cycle, kickboxing, pilates and hi/low or beginner classes.
