SpaFinder Wellness 365TM Names 2013 Readers' Choice Award Winners
Spas in Australia, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, South Africa and Thailand take top honors; new awards extend beyond spa to fitness, yoga and nutrition
NEW YORK, NY—October 21, 2013 – Spafinder Wellness 365™, the world’s best resource for feeling good and living well all year round, today announced the winners of its coveted 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards. Top honors went to Crystal Award winners in Australia, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, South Africa and Thailand that were voted the favorite on each of six continents. Country Awards went to the top hotel, destination or resort spas across 44 countries and regions, and Category honors were awarded to the top 10 spas and wellness locations in 26 unique classifications, from best beach spas to best for families to best fitness and wellness programs.
This is the first year awards were presented to fitness, yoga, and nutrition locations and programs, in addition to spas. The evolved awards reflect the company’s mission to make keeping well more accessible each and every day. The 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards attracted an unprecedented level of worldwide consumer participation, providing the most comprehensive consumer assessment of the global spa and wellness market available.

The 2013 Awards were based on votes submitted worldwide at Spafinder.com. Voters were asked to cast ballots only for locations they’ve personally visited within the past three years.
