Avanti Salon & Spa in Manalapan,
New Jersey offers the 50-hour Romeo & Juliet Package. Start
with The Razul Signature Experience. Inspired by the ancient cleansing rituals
of the ancient harems, the Razul Chamber (the only one on the East Coast) is a
private room made from beautiful European blue and green tile. Upon entering the
Razul, couples apply smooth, cooling mud to each others' bodies. Then the lights
dim and only the starry "sky" of the domed ceiling provide a small amount
of light. Warm, tiled thrones, fit for a King and Queen, provide a place to sit
and take pleasure in the experience. Over the next thirty minutes, while sitting
on warming thrones under the starry sky, a furnace in the chamber steadily releases
warm, soothing steam mixed with pleasant aromas of lavender, rosemary and thyme.
At the end of the half hour, it will begin to rain. The ceiling provides a gentle
rain fall to loosen and cleanse the mud from the body. The remaining mud is rinsed
in the Swiss Steam Shower which has 4 shower heads to bathe the entire body. Finish
with one partner having a full body massage and the other a soft pac treatment.
