Spa Association - ASpa) is the leading body representing
all members of the spa and wellness industry in Australia and
New Zealand to promote growth, professionalism and awareness to
the industry and the community. Goals of ASpa include; Providing
communication and information services to spa owners, therapists
and other participants; Setting spa industry standards and promoting
these to consumers; Creating effective educational and networking
opportunities for spa industry participants; Contributing towards
the development of Spa Therapist and Spa Management training programs;
Raising the profile of Australian and New Zealand spas locally,
nationally and internationally; and Liaising with all levels of
government, national and international tourism bodies and other
relevant organisations. |

Day Spa Association - The DSA's Mission: To promote their
members' businesses through the distribution of their Membership
Directory to consumers and the spa industry all over the country

industry and its professional through information exchange, networking
and educational events;To increase consumer awareness of and the
demand for spa services and products; and To protect the consumer
by continuously elevating the standards of professionalism and

Destination
Spa Group - Destination Spa Group is a participatory networking
and marketing association of North American Destination Spas.
The association formed in 1997 by the owners of America's finest
Destination Spas to clarify the Destination Spa difference for
the public. Through its publications and other forms of outreach,
DSG helps potential spa guests find the experience they seek in
a world in which "spa" has come to mean many different
things. |
European
Spas Association - The European Spa Association's objective
is to promote spas and balneology in Europe and to take care that
the natural remedies based on mineral water, landscape and climate
will be available to as great a number of citizens and visitors
as possible. In order to achieve this the European Spas Association
has established the following aims: to monitor and analyse the
condition of the spas and health resorts in the individual EC
member countries; to stimulate exchange of experience, best practise
and know-how; to produce and develop programes for health and
well-being products and strategies for prevention and rehabilitation
for all living within Europe; to establish, promote and improve
the standards in all spas and health resorts within Europe (bookable
offers); to stimulate and resource spa research; to define and
harmonise common training programmes and courses and to determine
a professional structure for the European spa industry; and to
establish a framework for collaborative marketing opportunities
for ESPA member countries. |
International
SPA Association - Since 1991, ISPA has been recognized
worldwide as the
professional organization and voice of the spa industry, representing
more than 2,500 health
and wellness facilities and providers in 73 countries. Members
encompass the entire arena of the spa experience, from resort/hotel,
destination, mineral springs, medical, cruise ship, club and day
spas to service providers such as physicians, wellness instructors,
nutritionists, massage therapists and product suppliers. ISPA
strives to advance the professionalism of the spa industry by
providing invaluable educational and networking opportunities,
to promote the value of the spa experience to society, and to
be the authoritative voice of the spa industry.

Spas of Canada - A national organization working together
through member services, professional development, education and
marketing to support The Leading Spas of Canada as an international
Spa Destination. The Leading Spas of Canada strives to lead the
spa industry by: Building a national organization that supports
its members from all regions of Canada; Supporting professional
development by implementing guidelines for standards and practices
and education; Increasing the awareness of the enjoyment and benefits
of the Canadian spa experience, in Canada and worldwide through
its marketing programs; and Advocating for the spa industry within

Medical
Spa Society - It is the mission of the MSS's society of
professional spa and medical practitioners to promote education,
communication and standards of excellence for the medical spa
profession. The MSS is committed to providing educational forums
that allow the industry to stay informed about the latest innovations
and cutting-edge developments in the spa and medical fields. The
MSS offers many rich resources, which will promote strategic planning
to help grow the businesses. The society is dedicated to the advancement
of the medical spa industry in all respects including the interests
of members, their staff and the consumer. The goal is to encourage
the exchange of information and ideas, and to develop and adhere
to high standards of care and a code of ethics. This will enhance
the image and credibility of the entire medical spa industry.
The MSS's goals are: To promote the sound development of the medical
spa industry; To create a strict code of ethics for MSS member
spas and hold them accountable for consistent, high level of operating

Premier Spas of Ontario - An association of spas committed
to offering Premier spa experiences. Premier Spas of Ontario's
quality criteria serves as the hallmark for all Premier Spas members.
They are dedicated to consistently providing you with the best
people, products, services and surroundings. They are an association
of very diverse spas, all focused on providing the highest quality,
premier spa experiences and offering a range of specialties for
the sophisticated spa-goer as well as the first timer.

Spas of Europe - Includes historical former royal spas
in Europe. The Co-operation is founded for mutual marketing and
representing the interests of these spas.

Spa
Association Singapore - Represents the professional spa
operators in Singapore and is the voice for the development of
the spa industry. The Association works closely with the Singapore
Tourism Board, the Police Licencing Division, IE Singapore and
many other industry partners and statutory boards to facilitate
the development of member spas and provide the connections for
members going abroad.
The Association is taking the industry to its next quantum leap,
in particular the areas of education, operating standards and
