When I check into a hotel where I am going to have a spa service, I usually verify my appointment first thing. When I checked into the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel, which had recently undergone a $20 million expansion and renovation, I settled into my room right away. It had been a long flight from the East Coast topped off with a two-hour drive. I forgot to call the spa. The following morning, I was looking forward to my Wine Escape package. What else would I have in wine country? I checked in at the Amadeus Spa bright and early. My appointment wasn't on the schedule even though it had been made a few weeks before my trip. The receptionist was apologetic and offered to fit me in in a couple of hours. There were no other openings. Normally, I am pretty flexible. However, on that day, I had to be somewhere else in three hours. There would be no Wine Escape that day. I did, however, get a chance to tour the spa.

Treatment Menu

Body Treatments

• The Napa Cleansing - Warm seaweed body mask to release accumulated toxins and renew you. While in a deep state of relaxation, your thereapist will massage away tension from your face. Treatment ends with soothing tropical rain beneath the Vichy shower.
• Estate Reserve - Begin with a body exfoliation followed by an Aromatherapy Honey Wrap. As your skin absorbs the richness of nature, a scalp massage will take you into a blissful state of relaxation. Emerge under the Vichy Shower and top off the experience with an application of hydrating lotion.
• The Good Life - Sink into the Hydrotherapy Tub filled with essential oils carefully blended to balance your energy. Your skin will then be exfoliated and enveloped in the Herbology Wrap designed to rebalance and soften your skin as you drift away to a neck and scalp massage.
• Salt Glow - Salts and essential oils are vigorously buffed over your body to exfoliate old skin and reveal the yournger you. Vichy Shower included.
• Champagne Bubbly - Begin with a Grape Seed Scrub unfer the Vichy Waterfall, then immerse yourself in the hHydrotherapy Tub filled with the esssence of ripe Stawberries and Champagne.
• The Wine Escape - Not enough wine? Begin this adventure with a GrapeSeed Body Scrub followed by a Wine Mud Body Wrap. Rinse under the Vichy Shower.
• The Library Collection - A Hydrotherapy Soak in Dead Sea Salt followed by a Dead Sea Mineral Mud Wrap will help your body release built-up toxings. Scalp massage included.

• The Grape Escape - A half day retreat featureing a 50-min. Chardonnay Massage, a Spa Facials, a Napa Fitness Lunch and a Manicure and Pedicure. 3 hrs.
• The Grapes of Wrap - A 50-min Chardonnay Massage perpares your body for a loofah scrub followed by a Warm Honey / Essentila Oil Blend Wrap as you drift away with a scalp massage. Rinse under our Vichy Shower and finish your stay with a Spa Facial. 4 hrs.
• The Vinyard - A Chardonnay Massage followed by Spa Facial. 2 hrs.
• The Fountain of Youth - Essential oils infused Hydrotherapy Tub followed by a relaxing 25-min Chardonnay Massage.
• Thirst Quencher - a skin-quenching Napa Valley Grape Seed Scrub under the Vichy Shower followed by a 25-min Chardonnay Massage. 1 hr.
• Romanza Escape - For you and your significant other! Start your escape with a Body Polish, followed by a Meritage Massage inthe Couple's Room. Culminate the experience with a Spa Signature Facila and a complimentary glass of Champagne. 3 hrs.
• Mother & Daughter Day - Celebrate each other. Begin with a eucalyptus steam followed by a Meritage Massage. A Spa Lunch and a glass of Chardonnay will be waiting for your before you end your day with a Spa Facial. 3 hrs.
• SpaMe Day - Perfect for you and your circle of friends. 10-min Chardonnay, Spa Faicial, Spa Manicure or Spa Pedicure, and a complimentary platter of cheese-fruit-breads to tease your appetite along with a glass of Champagne. For a group of 6 or more.

There is a daily charge to use the spa facility without a scheduled spa treatment (for hotel guests only based on availability) • Plan to arrive a minimum of 30minutes before your scheduled appointment. • 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged for your treament. • It is suggested you disrobe entirely for your treatment, but undergarments can be worn if you prefer.
