Treatments & Programs: Massage (shiatsu, aroma, classical), body scrub, facial treatments. The facilities include a traditional Japanese bathing facility with low stools facing taps with wooden half tubs which you fill with water then, squatting on the stool, upend over your head. This should take up to two hours and you wash with soapy lather in small circular movements from the extremities toward the heart. After the washing ritual you relax in a shallow hot pool with a cold towel on your head. Then you walk through into an Olympic-sized swimming pool surrounded by a shallow cold walking pool. Outside, through Japanese screen doors, are several shallow hot pools overlooking the archipelago. Here you lie, breathing the refreshing cold air, immersed in hot water, watching the sun set and the boats go by.
