Introducing Qua Baths &
Spa at Caesars Palace - New spa oasis to feature Roman Baths, Crystal
Body Art and Las Vegas' first Arctic Ice Room
LAS
VEGAS- July 11, 2006 - Qua Baths
& Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, scheduled to open in Novemver
14, 2006, will offer guests an alluring and artful oasis guided by the
healing and calming powers of water, dynamic service standards, and
"Social Spa-ing," a new concept in the industry.
The
stylish spa will feature an immersive atmosphere including lavish Roman
Baths, an Arctic Ice Room, an exceptional array of skin treatments including
Crystal Body Art, therapeutic massages, and an expansive Fitness Center.
Latin for "here," Qua connotes the myriad and
inspirational benefits of "living in the moment," while evoking
"aqua," or water, the focus of its Roman Bathing experience
and many of its therapeutic services.
Qua
will encourage relaxed Social Spa-ing, reminiscent of the glorious baths
of ancient Rome, by creating vibrant gathering spaces in private men's
and women's areas. Couple's studios will offer romantic massages and
body treatments. Tea Lounges will have a Tea Sommelier to create tasteful
tea pairings with treatments, including an exclusive signature Qua blend.
A
first in spa aesthetic services, the Crystal Room at Qua will offer
customized designs of tiny Swarovski crystals artistically adhered to
the body - the ultimate personal accessory and the perfect prelude to
an exciting evening of Caesars Palace entertainment and nightlife.
The timeless power of water is the artistic theme at Qua.
Three pools and a waterfall will accent the guest entrance experience.
Roman Baths in both the men's and women's areas will encourage therapeutic
respite from fast-paced Las Vegas.
An
overhead rain shower will draw guests in, while the steady flow of cascading
waterfalls soothes by sound and sight. In the city's first Arctic Ice
Room, guests can unwind after heat treatments using ice chips to cool,
exfoliate and invigorate amidst the crisp air. Included with all treatments,
guests can enjoy the Laconium Cedar Wood Sauna, as well as an Herbal
Steam Room draped with a misty infusion of fresh aromatic herbs.
Qua's exclusive Men's Only Zone will draw the masculine
element with a talented Master Barber, attired in an iconic
tuxedo
shirt and cummerbund, offering hair styling, traditional hot lather,
straight-razor shaves, manicure and pedicure options. A steady stream
of retro jazz music and a flat-screen television with the hottest sporting
events create a great place to watch the game and keep up with a bet
at the Sports Book.
Qua also will introduce a signature spa product line in
early 2007, including elegantly packaged, Roman-inspired pampering body
products, a stylish clothing line and merchandise.
The 50,000 square-foot spa is being designed by Hirsh
Bedner Associates of Santa Monica, California and Allard & Conversano
of Oakland, California.
Opening
in November 2006, Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas will
feature 51 treatment studios including three deluxe Couple's Studios,
two personalized hydrotherapy tubs, three Vichy showers, seven facial
studios, 35 massage studios and a Crystal Room. Enticing Roman Baths
will create a soothing, immersive atmosphere for guests to relax, while
a high-tech, 5,500 square foot Fitness Center will be outfitted with
Technogym equipment.
